Les Matthews has three decades of experience in the health care industry and has been involved in a broad range of
product, service, and technology businesses.
Les founded six companies: Heart of America Hospice, Inc., HMP Services, Inc., Long Term Care Physicians, Inc.,
Medical Marketing, Inc., MotionWatch, Inc., and Portable Health Services, Inc. Four of the companies were venture
capital funded, raising in excess of $25 million in equity. Five of the companies were successfully exited through
acquisition. Les currently serves as Vice Chairman of Santa Fe Economic Development, Inc. and Chairman of
Santa Fe Business Incubator, Inc. He is also on the Board of Directors for the New Mexico Venture Capital Association.
